Material World is a prominent resource center in the area of human resource and supply chain management.

The group's activities targeted at greater industrial benefit hence service to community have received recognition from various quarters across the industrial spectrum.

With a mission to work toward an intellectually challenging community, MW instituted the Material World Anniversary Management/Tech Debate Series in 2004. The theme of the 1st in the series was "Good Managers Need Not Be B School Graduates" and the second was "For the Indian, E-Commerce Is A Far Off Dream". The third in the series was on Corporate Social Responsibility; the fourth held in 2007 had "Overseas Education: Luxury Then, Necessity Now" as its theme. The fifth MW Anniversary Debate held in 2008 had "Overemphasis of Soft Skills is Undermining the learning of hard skills" as the theme.
